MESOTHERAPY

» BODY APPLICATIONS

MESOTHERAPYBody mesotherapy is commonly used for regional slimming… This method aims reducing the volume and the count of fat cells by injecting small amounts of a certain drug into the target zone. The medication injected into the subcutaneous tissues improves the circulation, enhances the recovery of the lymphatic system, and accelerates the intracellular fat metabolism. Thus, the number of the fat cells in the subcutaneous adipose tissue decreases and the fatty acids are excreted from the body. MESOTHERAPY is employed to eliminate regional fat accumulation in:

• Legs
• Tummy
• Lateral sides of the body
• Back
• Arms
• Lower legs

The body mesotherapy lasts for 15 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the target area. It is performed in 1 session at 5- to 10-day intervals, although there is interpersonal variation. A mesotherapy cure can be repeated at intervals of 8-12 months. Successful results can be obtained in 8 to 10 sessions on average depending on personal characteristics and type of treatment.

Treatment Areas of Mesotherapy

Cellulite
Cellulite is a condition characterized by lumpy appearance of the skin in both men and women of all age groups. It is usually caused by lymphatic dysfunction secondary to a hormonal disorder. If mesotherapy is performed to treat cellulite, successful results are achieved through weekly sessions for 4-10 weeks. Healthy nutrition ensures long-standing results.

The subcutaneous injection of certain substances regulates the blood and lymphatic circulation, reduces the fat deposits and smoothens the stiffened connective tissue. Thus, mesotherapy for cellulite treatment provides the skin with a better look.

In the cellulite, the elasticity of the skin is lost, as the accumulation of fat cells stretch the connective tissue, resulting in impaired nutrient supply to the connective tissue at the subcutaneous layer. Cellulite is a disorder caused by impaired circulation, a genetic defect in the connective tissue, and the abnormal growth of the fat cells. Weight loss and gain cycles, pregnancy, and unhealthy eating pave the way for the cellulite. Mesotherapy breaks up the fat deposits, remove the unhealthy and dense connective tissue and enhance the lymphatic circulation.

It is usually applied once a week. However, interpersonal variations apply to the number of sessions. Pressotherapy (lymphatic drainage) following mesotherapy for cellulite reduces the risk of side effects.

Regional Fat Deposition
Mesotherapy is an alternative to the liposuction for eliminating regional fat depositions in abdomen, waist, arms and legs. It breaks up the fat tissue at the injection site.

Treatment of Scar Formation
The scar formation is a tissue repair process following a skin lesion. While the tissue repairs the damage, the scar tissue can form secondary to the reaction at the repair site. Mesotherapy can be performed in 5-6 sessions at intervals of three weeks.
