MICRONEEDLING FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCYThis system consists of a hand-piece with small gold needles and a radiofrequency unit that the hand-piece is connected. By means of the golden needles, the radiofrequency energy is transmitted to the deep layers of the skin and warms the tissues. Rejuvenation of the skin and repair of the damaged tissues bring out a bright and tight skin as a result of the collagen reconstruction in the tissues as well as the repair of the damaged collagens.

In the microneedling fractional radiofrequency procedure, microneedles are driven directly into the skin at a certain depth adjusted automatically when the hand-piece with gold needles of the radiofrequency device touches the skin. The unit of the radiofrequency device with microneedles that regulates the current bypasses the epidermis – the outermost layer of the skin – and reaches the dermis – the mid layer. Through this treatment method, the needles may increase the temperature to 60 degrees Celsius with the radiofrequency waves transmitted into the subcutaneous tissues. Many gold micro-needles drills fractional micro-holes on the skin and thus, the production of collagen and elastin is stimulated in the dermis through the radiofrequency waves delivered by the needle. As it does not touch the skin surface, any potential thermal damage is not seen on the epidermis and the superficial skin layers. The aim is to provide the subcutaneous tissue with the highest energy without damaging the upper layers of the skin.

Transmission of the radiofrequency energy directly to the dermis by gold needles allows the collagen fibers break up rapidly through coagulation. Microneedling fractional radiofrequency leads to reorganization of old collagen fibers and stimulates the fibroblast cells for a new collagen production.

How is the microneedling fractional radiofrequency applied?
Before the microneedling fractional radiofrequency procedure, the skin is cleansed and an analgesic cream is applied in order to minimize the pain. The patient-specific hand-piece is connected to the system, and the appropriate dose is adjusted. The procedure lasts for 30 minutes in average. A mild redness may appear on the skin within the first 5-6 hours after the procedure. However, it begins to disappear within the following 24 – 72 hours. In the next day, you should not wash your face and make up. Mild redness, swelling, dryness and tightness may be felt on the face after the procedure. You should use moisturizing cream as well as antibiotic cream for in the first three days. You should avoid from sunbath or solarium in the procedure day. Though tiny scabs may appear on the skin after the procedure, they begin to disappear 3-4 days later.

Microneedling Fractional Radiofrequency is used in:
• Treatment of wrinkles
• Rejuvenating the skin and enhancing the skin quality
• Tightening the sagged face, neck and décolleté
• Treatment of scar formation
• Treatment of acne scars
• Treatment of skin blemishes
• Treatment of stretch marks
• Treatment of stretch marks due to certain reasons such as weight loss and gain
• Treatment of the sagged arms and legs
• Tightening the skin pores

The procedure is performed in monthly sessions. Three sessions are sufficient in the treatment of acne scars and for the skin rejuvenation.

What are the treatment areas of the microneedling radiofrequency procedure?
Skin rejuvenation involves the face, neck and décolleté as well as the eye contours and hands. It provides the skin with a bright, tight and healthy look. The most important advantages are lack of permanent redness or rash after the procedure. Therefore, the daily life of the patient is not limited. Though an insignificant edema occurs after the procedure, it will disappear in a short time. Furthermore, it is a procedure that provides natural results and can be applied in each season.
